Are you ready for a new opportunity? Lightspeed is looking for a full-time Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Netherlands. This role is perfect for self-motivated individuals with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Join Our Team as a Senior Tax Accountant for our EMEA region
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare VAT returns for the Netherlands and support other European entities.
• Assist with internal VAT inquiries and month-end financial reporting.
• Prepare quarterly tax provisions and coordinate with external advisors for tax returns.
• Respond to audit requests and support tax credit claims.
• Contribute to transfer pricing documentation and special projects.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• 3-6 years of experience in international tax or Big 4 consultancy.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and corporate taxes in the Netherlands.
• Fluent in English, with advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

• Familiarity with taxes in other European countries.
• Experience with Net Suite and transfer pricing.
• Background in public or Saa S/technology companies.
