Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
· Weekly and monthly accounting tasks.
· bank reconciliations.
· Management of daily store cash takings
· Preparation of tax filings that include GST and PAYE returns.
· Payroll processing
· Support month-end and year-end close processes.
· Assistance in the reporting pack to USA support office.
· Accounts receivable and payable management
· Conduct financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
· Participate in the implementation of the new ERP system and processes.
· Management of the invoice processing, supplier statement management, and payment runs.
Essential skills and qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
· Accounting certifications (CA) or working towards this.
· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
· Strong knowledge in accounting software (For example Xero and MYOB)
· Good knowledge and use of MS Office, particularly Excel
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
