Management & Systems Accountant
This is a new role which has been established due the growth in Tasman District and organisation's activities in recent years. Part of the role is management accounting and supporting decision making, the other part is systems accounting focused in providing support and backup to our Systems Accountant.
We are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds, whether you come to us with experience in Systems Accounting, or are an accountant with a flair for data or systems.

Management Accountant
This role supports decision making of the Council by reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and business partnering.
You will have an internal client base, and play a part in coordinating team workstreams. There is a diverse and interesting range of management reporting to undertake, and the opportunity to partner with the organisation to help Managers obtain better financial outcomes.
Being able to work efficiently with data from multiple sources is essential, with good data and reporting Excel skills, and an appreciation of how databases work.
Previous public sector or commercial experience are equally valued, with exposure to corporate level systems and working with data necessary.
