- Two to Three years accounts payable experience
- IT savvy (Excel in particular) and comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail and precision in financial tasks
- Great problem-solving skills for timely issue resolution
- Understanding of accounting concepts and techniques
- Outstanding customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands on experience in accounts and knowledge of financial systems
- High efficiency and accuracy with data entry processing

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time (30hrs per week) Accounts Officer - Payables to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and other related tasks. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.
As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for a variety of processing and accounts tasks, including:
- Timely processing of accounts payable transactions
- Reconciling creditor invoicing
- Reviewing and carrying out the weekly creditors payment run
- End of month processing & reporting
- Prompt and professional resolution of supplier and staff queries
- Assisting with credit card reconciliations
- Advising and supporting the credit card process
