The Role
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Graduates to join our dynamic Auckland team. In this role, you will design and develop various residential, mixed-use and hotel projects, guiding them from concept to completion.
Duties include:
  • Develop concept designs by both hand and CAD applications
  • Working collaboratively, contribute to projects from inception to completion
  • Interpret and apply regulatory and statutory framework to work
  • Undertake work in relation to Resource Consent submissions
  • Support the team with feasibility studies, identifying site constraints and opportunities
  • Promotes the practice in a positive way within the industry
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree in Architecture
  • 2+ years’ experience in an architectural studio environment
  • Solid drafting and graphic presentation skills
  • Competent with CAD software (DKO uses Archi CAD)
  • Knowledge of relevant New Zealand building codes and standards
  • Effective communication, whether written, visual, or verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Solid organisation, time management and coordination
