- A people person who builds strong relationships
- A proven leader and mentor
- Well developed facilitation and influencing skills
- Future-focused, analytical, and skilled at problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in vocational education and/or the construction industry.
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the organisation
- Ensuring the effectiveness of BCITO operations within a geographically dispersed team
- Providing your team with leadership, coaching and management
- Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
- Encouraging and supporting commitment to Te Ao Māori
- Managing a regional financial budget.
