He angitūtanga | About the role
As an Asset Investment Advisor, you will support the group in managing investment distribution processes and overseeing centralised operating expenditure funding pools.
You will collaborate with various business unites including regional teams, to identify, prioritise, and recommend work for funding. Additionally, you will monitor and report on the delivery of approved work.
There is a small team of staff undertaking this role within the Unit, and while you will be given specific portfolios, there is an expectation that the roles will work collaboratively across the various investment portfolios should the need arise. This position also offers opportunities for you to enhance your skills and broaden your experience.

We are keen to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver clear, effective technical outputs and provide high-quality professional advice.
- Proficient in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in prioritising financial planning and managing budgets effectively.
- Knowledge in managing capital and operational budgets in the public sector.
- Familiar with asset management practices and systems.
- Experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current full New Zealand driver licence.
- Experience using a proprietary software application such as SAP.
- Knowledge of Biodiversity and/or Visitor and Historic Asset field operations.

The salary range for this position is $92,450 - $116,985 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
