Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a Boiler Operator to join the team at our Ashburton plant.
Based on your experience and qualifications, your pay will range from $33.80 - $46.80 per hour.
You will be working on a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF, 12-hour shifts and will be either working on Day or Night shift based on the team requirement. A night shift allowance of $20 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.
As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving instructions from the Boiler & Service Lead, Engineering Manager, or other relevant personnel as required by the business.
• Acting as the point of contact for day-to-day steam supply issues related to production and other service equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s documented procedures and business rules.
• Completing all tasks with the appropriate work request paperwork, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
• Ensuring all work is completed and accurately documented with the correct reporting paperwork.

Qualifications
For this role, you’ll need:

• New Zealand Certificate in Energy and Chemical Process Operations (Level 4, or with Level 3 and willing to work towards level 4).
• Must understand and work to the ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and ensure that all activities and information are documented and available upon request.
