Are you an experienced accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team? Dailyfood in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain our financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachloar Qualification of Accounting in New Zealand is a must
• In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Records Management: Maintain and balance accounts using both manual and computerized systems.
• Cash Flow Monitoring: Oversee cash flow and manage lines of credit.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce financial statements, budget and expenditure reports, and analyses using accounting software packages.
• Invoice and Order Processing: Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and bank deposits.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts against monthly bank statements.
• Transaction Verification: Verify recorded transactions and report any irregularities to management.
• Tax Reporting: Prepare forms reporting business tax entitlements and obligations, including GST paid and collected.
