Lalita Trasport is a reputable courier company that delivers and picks up goods to and from our valued customers. We are currently looking for five motivated, friendly, and physically fit individuals to join our team as Couriers Driver. DUE TO NATURE OF THE JOB, YOU REQUIRES TO TRAVEL AND RELOCATE IN MULTIPLE REGIONS. Including: Southland, Otago, Malborough, and Canterbury.

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for picking up goods from our customers and ensuring they are safely transported to their destination.

Job Title: Courier Driver

Job Type: Full time permeant, at least 30 hours per week.

Salary: $23.15 – $29.66 per hour depending on skills

Hours: Monday - Saturday 8am - 4pm

The job requirements are:

sorting and sequencing items for delivery
delivering mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes
receiving orders for deliveries from customers
collecting signatures and charges for cash-on-delivery orders
issuing and collecting receipts for pick-up and delivery items
keeping records of items received and delivered
maintaining walk books, directories, mail counts, equipment maintenance logs and other delivery records
loading and unloading mail conveyances and internal mail handling equipment
assisting with receipting inward mail, checking wrongly addressed, missorted, undelivered and redirected mail, and processing freepost

and underpaid mail
The successful candidate must:

hold a current , valid driver license
fast learner, pay attention to detail
physically fit, able to lift 20KG goods
keen to learn the local area
able to drive a Class 1 Van (toyota hiace hightop or equivalent, and maintain up to standard)
following the health and safety rules
Training will be provided, so prior qualification or experience is not required but would be an advantage.

- Minimum qualifications - High School
