Branch Operations Manager

As The Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the daily operations of our busy resturant. You will ensure efficient service delivery, maintain high-quality standards, and promote a positive work environment for team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Lead and manage all day-to-day aspects to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted operation.
- Monitor and track performance and orders to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
- Manage stock levels of ingredients, tools and products and ordering.
- Handle employee scheduling, time-off requests, and shift adjustments.
- Prepare detailed reports of activities for management review.
- Recruit, Train, mentor, and supervise new staffs to maintain high performance and quality standards.
- Manage and control costs relevant to the operations.
- Inspire and manage a diverse team with effective communication.
- Collaborate with senior management and other team members to meet company goals.
- Establish and maintain high-quality standards and ensure consistent compliance.
- Implement corrective actions and improvement plans to enhance service quality.
- Manage all necessary certificates including health and safety and 12A
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Address customers orders, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Help the team develop sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide feedback on products and service development to meet customers needs.
- Ensure that workplace Health &Safety and Spill plans, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained within the workplace.
- Train staff on proper handling of tools and equipment to minimise risks.
- Investigate and report any incidents or accidents and implement preventive measures.
- 2-3 years of experience in an operations manager or supervisory role, preferably in a food industry.
- Proven track record of effectively managing people and resources to achieve operational goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valid New Zealand driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
