We’re currently seeking experienced Buyers to join the team. You’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.
The Role
- Oversight of stock range, ensuring range matches the format and customer service requirements whilst optimizing stock levels and stock turn.
- Ensure orders are placed on time and manage any delivery discrepancies.
- Review category shelf layouts to ensure product is merchandised to the highest standard and sales and profit potential is reached.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and reps.
- Price negotiation with suppliers.
- Achieve price integrity by ensuring all process are always correct in SAP and POS equipment.

What we’re looking for:
- Previous buying experience in a supermarket setting – ideally within grocery or chilled/frozen.
- Solid understanding of category flow and merchandising.
- Understanding of SAP and Symphony software.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated and a team player.
