The role
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be working with a friendly team in Auckland to install Network electrical assets including:

• Install, replace, and repair underground distribution assets
• Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to and including 22k V
• Testing and commissioning of 400V distribution installations

About you
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have:

• Demonstrated experience to carry out HV and LV cable jointing and terminating
• Valid class 1 Drivers Licence
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a cable jointer
• Preference will be given to candidates that either hold EWRB registration as a Cable Jointer or have an EWRB limited Cable Jointer Licence
• Sound technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures and standards
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• A team player and ‘can do’ attitude with strong interpersonal skills working in a multi-cultural environment
