What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
Starting on 6th January 2025, this critical frontline position in the Ministry of Social Development is one in which every day will be busy and demanding. As a Senior's Case Manager your role is assessing financial assistance to support clients in retirement, including making referrals to support agencies. You will ensure that your clients are receiving their full and correct entitlements and that they have access to emergency grants and support if required.
A broad knowledge of financial assessments and overseas pensions is essential. You will also work closely with community groups supporting Senior's clients.

About you | Mōu ake
You need to be able to work at pace, make sound decisions, and show empathy when working with clients. Strong relationship and negotiation skills are useful and you will be able to motivate and empower others to overcome barriers in a non-judgmental way. You are comfortable working in a fast paced, pressured environment and enjoy navigating through unexpected challenges. It is highly advantageous to have a current working knowledge of New Zealand Superannuation policies, processes and entitlements.

Salary range: $68,660.00 - $83,003.00
Aligned to knowledge, skills and relevant work experience.
