Job Description:
We are seeking a Chef who is enthusiastic about creating delightful dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including pastries, cakes, and savory items.
• Develop and introduce new menu items, seasonal specials, and daily offerings.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standard.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and a positive work environment.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NZQF Diploma or equivalent OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
• Strong baking skills and a creative flair for developing new recipes.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a passion for creating delicious food.
