About the role
As a Strategic Energy Partner at Genesis, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of energy for some of New Zealand's largest companies. This role is perfect for a visionary leader who is passionate about account management, sustainability and energy innovation. You will play a critical role in driving decarbonisation and efficiency initiatives within your portfolio.
In this role you will;

Lead the creation and execution of tailored account strategies for strategic high-value commercial and industrial customers.
Conduct in-depth market and usage analyses to provide clients with actionable insights and strategic advice.
Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with customers, ensuring Genesis remains a trusted energy partner.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences and innovative energy solutions.
Work as an integral part of clients' energy and sustainability teams, driving their decarbonisation roadmaps and efficiency initiatives.

About you
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic thinker who is driven by exceeding customer expectations and delivering impactful energy solutions.
You will also have;

Experience in the energy industry or similar (such as telecom), with a strong background and proven ability in account management or sales.
Proven ability to influence and negotiate at an executive level.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in public speaking.
An understanding of energy and sustainability practices, with the ability to drive innovation and change.
