Class 5 Driver – Tuesday to Thursday Shift

Lowie is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver eager for their next career move. We're hiring skilled drivers for an ongoing temp assignment based in Tauranga. What we offer:

Paid weekly, $33 per hour
Tuesday - Thursday: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Temp-to-perm role with growth opportunities

Our consultants go above and beyond to be fair, lead you to success, care for your well-being and prioritise your safety.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Operating a truck and trailer or B-train with safe and efficient handling, including reversing
Transporting paper products, with routes including Kawerau to Tauriko and sometimes to the HLZ depot
Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
Completing daily checks and adhering to safety protocols
Attending a driving assessment in Hamilton as required

The ideal candidate will have:

Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
A current Forklift Certificate with practical experience
Proven experience in operating a truck and trailer/B-train, including reversing
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Applicants must be willing to provide a Ministry of Justice criminal history check, attend and pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen, and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
