Mō te tūnga | About the role

• Triage

referrals for Cardiac patients * Assess,
plan and monitor patients undergoing Cardiology interventions * Works
closely with the Respiratory CNS to support the service and to co-ordinate
health promotion programmes to the wider community * Work
closely with the Cardiac specialists and other related specialities across
the West Coast and Canterbury regions * Learn
and share knowledge about symptom management * Facilitating
telehealth sessions with patients and specialists. * Some
community-based work for follow ups with patients * Provide
education to colleague - s families and whānau * Provide
support education and training to community facilities caring for this
group of patients This is an excellent role for a current RN wanting to
step up into a CNS role or a CNS wanting to make a change into a different
speciality. This role will be focused on providing excellent Cardiac care to
our patients from across the West Coast. We are looking for a clinical role
model who can educate peers, patients and their whānau.

and cardiac advice * Excellent
