Job Description
He aha te tūranga - About the role:
- Location: Palmerston North/Manawatu
- Permanent, Full-time position working 40 hours per week.
- Lead, motivate, and manage Clinical Support Officers to ensure excellent clinical support and education delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Support Team to meet internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Promote clinical excellence by maintaining your own clinical practice and fostering safe clinical procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of performance and development plans for the team.
- Manage performance reporting, budget adherence, and provide monthly activity reports.
- Support Hato Hone St John's emergency response and continuity plans.
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
- Tertiary qualification in health or management (preferred).
- Adult education certificate (preferred).
- Authority to Practice as an Intensive Care Paramedic, Paramedic, or Doctor with a current practicing certificate from the New Zealand Medical Council.
- Proven experience in clinical, operational, or educational team management.
- Strong relationship-building, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
