The Role
This is a key position within our East Tamaki branch that will have you overseeing stock control, maximising efficiency and mitigating any potential stock discrepancies within the store. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring stock is properly stored and controlled, as well as keeping the warehouse in a clean and orderly state
- Maintaining accurate documentation for all stock movements, ensuring transactions are up to date and stock is accounted for
- Performing weekly stocktakes and audits to ensure accuracy of records
- Preparation and conducting national stocktakes
- Ensuring best Health & Safety procedures and processes are followed
To be successful you will need:
- A full, clean NZ Driver's License with F endorsement
- Demonstrated experience working within the automotive and/or tyre industry
- Strong attention to detail and a critical eye
- An exceptional attitude and positive approach to work
- Good computer literacy as well as numeracy and written skills
- To be able to see the bigger picture and work well as part of a team, within a busy store
