Are you ready to support good decision-making and accountability Hawke's Bay Regional Council is seeking a Corporate Planning Analyst to join our Strategy & Governance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your professional skills while contributing to the council's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting corporate planning functions, including the Long Term Plan, Annual Plan, and Annual Report
- Developing and maintaining organizational performance reporting
- Contributing to public consultations and engagement activities
- Assisting in building a long-term planning culture across the council

We're looking for a dedicated professional with:
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Adaptability and innovation in the face of change
- An understanding of local government processes (desirable)
- A Bachelor's degree in policy, planning, communications, political science, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point
What we offer | Nga huanga mōu:
The salary range for this role is between $69,750 to $77,500 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
