Job Description
- Prepare and present food items for a la carte, buffet, and pastry services to high standards
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
- Stay updated with the latest food trends and contribute creatively to menu development
Qualifications
You will be:
- An experienced chef with a minimum of 3 years in a 4-5 star Hotel or high-end restaurants
- Qualified in culinary arts with strong technical skills and abilities
- Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about food
- Able to work independently during graveyard shifts, managing food preparation and service
- Capable of following detailed instructions for mise en place and food preparation
- Flexible in working various shifts, including mornings and evenings as required
