The opportunity:
    • As a Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Creative team to ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that enhance KPMG's profile and reputation in the New Zealand market. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact on our brand and business.
Day to day you will:
    • Lead the Creative team to deliver high-quality design solutions.
    • Support and develop the Creative team’s learning and development to meet business needs and individual aspirations.
    • Provide technical design support, guidance, and ideas.
    • Ensure appropriate prioritisation of work - balancing stakeholder needs and delivery timelines.
    • Work on integrated campaigns, client proposals, sales material, sponsorships, and events.
    • Promote and manage KPMG's brand elements and guidelines within the firm.
What you'll bring to our team:
    • Proven experience in a design leadership role, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
    • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating expertise in design principles, techniques, and tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    • Experience in mentoring and developing a team of designers, fostering a positive and creative work environment.
    • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) and other relevant tools.
    • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
