About the role:

The Home Delivery Driver Assistant is responsible for helping the home delivery driver to deliver and pick up customer’s product in a safe way and ensuring the quality and security of the products within a designated area, and the completion of required scanning and documentation. You are also required to help other Fliway people in their jobs, when directed by Management or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out your work as outlined in the company training modules, operations manual, policies, rules, standards, and procedures.
• To work in a helpful, friendly, and polite manner, when dealing with receivers and others.
• Deliver as per agreed delivery time and conduct delivery, unpacking, installs as per instructions from Fliway or customer.
• To wear the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance so you represent Fliway professionally.
• Perform all functions in a safe manner.
• Be responsible for daily checks on the vehicle in your care.
• To be responsible for a vehicle and required actions involved in the pickup and delivery of the freight requiring one or more persons.
• Complete all scanning and notifications correctly and on time – as required in the procedure for Fliway or as specified by the customer. Any other duties as requested by management which may be necessary from time to time.

What you Bring:

• Hardworking, honest, and reliable
• Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
• Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
• Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
• Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
• Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
• Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 1 – Full license required (Class 2 Idea)
