Fixed Term 0.8FTE (8 months)
(64 hours per fortnight) rostered and rotating Monday – Sunday.
- ED or Acute Care post-registration experience is preferred

You will never have an uneventful day in the Nelson Hospital ED!
ED nursing uses all your skills and provides daily learning opportunities, with around 31500 patient presentations per annum across the lifespan. We focus on excellent, quality care and are committed to improving the experience of patients and their whanau.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in ED or acute care. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.

Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) is the main health provider for the Te Tau Ihu, the top of the south. Nearly 3,000 strong, we are Nelson’s and Marlborough’s largest employer, supporting the health and wellbeing of over 150,000 citizens across the region.
Our main locations are Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs, but we are spread across the region and service all parts of the community.
