Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for your next challenge?
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team and ensure the optimal functioning of electrical systems and equipment at our facility. This is a key role that supports plant availability and efficiency. You would be working on a rotating roster, working 2 days, 2 nights, then 4 days off, and would report directly to our Electrical Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and inspection work orders through SAP
- Maintain all electrical systems and equipment on-site
- Fault finding and maintenance of PLCs, drives, and other control circuits
- Conduct Test and Tag activities to ensure safety compliance
- Manage electrical installations and fabrication projects
About you:
- Relevant trade qualification with current NZ electrical registration
- Strong background in adhering to, promoting and improving Health & Safety protocols
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Proficiency in PLC systems and control circuits
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like GMP, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Systems
- Proven track record in fault finding and problem-solving
- Results oriented, with the ability to work on a variety of unconnected projects
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute across the business
- Flexibility to work a rotating 4x4 shift schedule (24/7 operation)
