Your Impact
As a member of the On Premise team, you will take ownership for exceptional execution of the National Sponsorship and Events strategy in New Zealand. This will be achieved by working alongside amazing sponsorship properties like the New Zealand Black Caps & White Ferns, The Blues Super Rugby Team as well as iconic Kiwi events like Electric Avenue, Rhythm and Vines & Laneway Festival!

Events and Sponsorships are a key channel for Asahi’s growth, and the Events and Sponsorships Manager will play an important role in expanding and scaling capability in the function.

The role will also take ownership of the signing, planning, execution and evaluation of events and sponsorships for ABNZ and are a key contributor to the development of our sponsorship & event approach.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of On Premise by leading the development of the Sponsorship & Event strategy ensuring alignment with Brand & Portfolio strategy as well as the Sales Strategy.
Drive alignment between sponsorship portfolio and category/brand plans to ensure effective integration of sponsorships.
Provide leadership on event design, innovation, environmental impact and Safety initiatives.
Lead measurement and evaluation effectiveness of all sponsorship & event plans and activities against sponsorship objectives and feedback.
Lead relationships between Asahi and partners, agencies and suppliers.

About You
We are seeking an individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment and is experienced in Sponsorship and Events management. Strong influencing skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.

Sponsorship and Events experience.
Experience in managing and leveraging sponsorships.
Ability to be able to track and measure ROI.
High level of project management ability and communication skills.
