We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our highly performing team in Auckland. You will be responsible to deliver finance business partnering services and support to designated Executive General Managers (EGMs) and their functional teams. A big part of the role will be to provide valued financial insight and advice, and appropriate challenge where required.
Key Responsibilities:

To provide direct support to designated EGMs and/or their teams, as directed by the Manager – Finance Business Partnering Costs COE, to assist them to achieve financial objectives relevant to their functional responsibilities.
To provide business function insight and analysis to support Suncorp NZ corporate reporting and commentary on financial results.
To support corporate planning processes and manage business function financial budgets and forecasts.
To support the Manager – Finance Business Partnering Costs COE in representing the “face of finance to the business” and foster an environment of collaboration, effective communication, and trust between business functions and Finance teams.
To contribute to achievement of overall Finance objectives and development of a positive and productive team culture across the function.

What we are looking for:

CA / CPA qualification
Tertiary Commerce or Business degree
At least 3 years of relevant commercial or industry experience
Exposure to Finance Business partnering environment
Understanding of financial services accounting
Strong analytical capability (incl. data analysis)
Strong verbal presentation and business writing skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
