Fitter/Welder – Auckland Harbour Bridge

We are looking for experienced Fitter/Welder to work on the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge.
Tasks will include precision fitting of strengthening steel, weld repairs and retrofit, steel fabrication, bearing replacement, expansion joint maintenance, and mechanical equipment maintenance.
Applicants Should:

• Have 5 years+ experience in a similar on-site role (preferred).
• The ability to accurately read engineering drawings.
• Can follow design instructions (written & verbal) and instruct others
• Have relevant trade skills and qualifications.
• Comfortable working at height, ideally qualified to use elevated work platforms. A rope access qualification would be an advantage.
• Have experience working in a high compliance construction environment.
