Fixed Term Company Driver

The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our courier delivery team on a fixed term agreement within the South Auckland Region

The reason for this Fixed Term employment is due to a temporary increase in our freight volumes. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT POSITION.

Immediate Start available to the right candidate

$27.00 per hour + 8% Holiday Pay.

Monday - Friday 8.00am-6.30pm

50 Hours per week, No Saturday work required.

Work available until 24 December 2022

You must have transportation to/from East Tamaki for this job.

Duties include:

Driving a company van to deliver & pickup freight within the South Auckland & Auckland Airport region
Assiting with bulk pickups of freight where required
Working in depot to sort/process freight

The ideal applicant will:

Be fit, confident and keen to work with an awesome team
Have confident communication skills
Have geographic knowledge of the South Auckland region/suburbs (mandatory requirement)
Have previous freight experience (not essential)
Have a full, clean, driver licence and experience driving a van with automatic transmission.
Be able to manage a diverse range of duties
Flexible and adaptable
Be physically fit – Some heavy lifting required (up to 25kg)
No prior injuries
Reliable, Punctual and Honest
