WG Barbar Limited salon is seeking an experienced and skilled Hairdresser to join our dynamic team! We offer competitive payrate starting from $30.00 an hour for minimum 30 hours a week. We have two shops in Christchurch - Hornby and Dallington suburb. You will be permanently working in one shop but must be open to work in another as and when required e.g. covering sick leave etc.
Job Duties
- Cut, style, colour and treat hair
- Consult clients on hair care and styling
- Apply chemical treatments and colour
- Use equipment like scissors, clippers, razors and hair dryers
- Maintain work area cleanliness and hygiene
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Stay updated on latest fashion trends and techniques
Requirements
- NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Hairdressing or equivalent OR minimum of 3 years of experience as a hairdresser
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
