The Opportunity
This is a new opportunity for an Instructional Designer to join our global Training team as we embark on a transformation journey to improve the training tools. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling learning activities and course content for Gallagher Security customers and internal teams. You’ll do this by applying learning frameworks and instructional design principles to create compelling and effective learning solutions.
Working with Gallagher’s global Security team, you’ll also support the development of Gallagher Security's training platforms, utilising multimedia tools to enhance the learning process.
The Fit
To be successful in this role, you’ll have proven experience as an Instructional Designer, or you could be coming from a Learning & Development role. Either way, you’ll have a strong understanding of Instructional Design/Learning Design principles and will be able to demonstrate your skills with an impressive portfolio of articles or instructional materials. Your collaborative approach will allow you to easily engage with subject matter experts to understand and analyse learning needs, as well as work with cross-functional teams to enable end to end delivery for training solutions. - A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems.
- Hands-on experience with content creations tools, such as Articulate 360 or similar.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working principles.
- The ability to strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders through maintaining a high degree of trust and integrity.
