Are you passionate about helping students achieve their career goals? The School of Applied Business is seeking a dedicated Internship Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and organizing industry placements for our students.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
Matching students with suitable internship opportunities.
Ensuring that placements align with students' educational and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage partnerships with industry and community organizations.
Coordinate and oversee the internship placement process.
Provide support and guidance to students throughout their internship experience.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internship placements.

The ideal candidate for the Internship Coordinator role will be an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who thrives on building meaningful connections between students and the business community. You should have a strong network within local industries and a talent for developing partnerships that support students' academic and career development.
You will be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple student placements while ensuring each aligns with the individual's educational and career aspirations. A natural relationship-builder, you will maintain strong communication with both students and industry partners, ensuring successful and mutually beneficial internship experiences. Your commitment to student success and hands-on approach to career development will be key to creating impactful learning opportunities for the next generation of business professionals.
You'll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel locally to visit internship sites are required. Additionally, having knowledge of vocational education programs and industry requirements would be a plus.
