Health New Zealand, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the Ashburton Hospital Well Food Department. Join our dedicated and hard-working Well Food Department and help feed our tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).
You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the general kitchen and cleaning duties which will include washing dishes
• Providing great customer service to our tūroro (patients) and their whānau
• Trayline dishing up of meals and desserts
• Collecting meal trays from our tūroro (patients)
• Closing the caf

Shift Available:
0.5FTE (20 hours a week)
3pm - 7pm Thursday to Monday
Salary starting rate $23.75 per hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion to the Ashburton kitchen. Well Food is looking for motivated and punctual kaimahi (staff) to join our kapa (team).

• Good time management and an eye for detail.

• Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous
