He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Working with an experienced and diverse team we are looking for an individual who must be able to work over a fortnightly roster including weekends in our Kitchen Department. This role is fixed term part-time to 7 March 2025 working 50 hours per fortnight.
This role involves many tasks and opportunity to grow your skills on the job.
Some of the tasks involved are;

• Delivery newspapers and water jugs to patients
• Handing out menu’s to patients
• Collecting trays on food trollies
• Serving cups of tea and coffee to patients
• Unloading and dishwashing duties
• Tray line duties serving desserts

In this role we work as a team, everyone has the responsibility to maintain the Kitchen to a clean standard. Our idea candidate must be able to work unsupervised, show initiative, follows instructions easily, good work ethic and can work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is covered by the Etú Service Food Workers Union Multi-Employer Collective Agreement. Hourly rate for this position is $23.75 to $28.18.
