About the job
We are seeking a part time Kitchen Assistant for our Rest Home at Herne Bay in Central Auckland. Responsibilities will include cleaning dishes in the dish washer, assisting the chef to prepare and serve meals, general cleaning of the kitchen and other cleaning duties as required.
We can also make this a full time job if you are interested in doing some Housekeeping duties on different days.
Skill and Experience
You must be reliable, honest and hard working. You will be able to work various shifts including weekend.
Some Duties include but not limited to:

• Maintain infection control principles
• Assisting with meal preparation and general kitchen duties
• Assisting the healthcare team in serving our residents
• Delivering top class customer service to a high standard and quality
• Constantly learning and developing your skills/knowledge.

Skills and Experience

• Has appropriate experience in the industry
• Has a positive attitude, excellent people skills
• Has good organisational skills
