Lead Advisor Wellbeing, Health and Safety The Lead Advisor Wellbeing Health and Safety provides strategic and operational advice on the Department's core Wellbeing, Health and Safety processes and practices. They promote Wellbeing, Health and Safety and embed it as a culture within the Department so that staff members, people leaders, and the wider Department retain the highest level of confidence in the Department's ability to safeguard the Wellbeing, Health and Safety of all people in the Department. The Lead Advisor Wellbeing, Health and Safety will work with the Manager Wellbeing, Health and to meet the obligations set out under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Organisational Capability and Services (OCS) | He Pou Aronui He Ringa Manaaki, Workplace Services sits within Organisational Capability and Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and people within DIA to make the best contribution to New Zealand

You will bring the following to the role:

• Experience in the design and development health and safety management systems
• Proven effective project and people management skills and experience at a Lead or Principal level
• Demonstrated, successful experience in policy and report writing, with an ability to define problems and apply creativity, logic and frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic goals and over-arching priorities
• A relevant tertiary qualification in policy or health and safety, or evidence of continued professional development.
