About the role
Timely and Salon Biz serve over 24,000 customers in 100 countries and are on a mission to build the leading platform for beauty professionals. Together we make up Ever Well, an Ever Commerce vertical. We offer Saa S solutions to a variety of customer sizes and types within the beauty industry, and we’ve got big goals and are ready to achieve them.

This is where you come in!
As an Everwell Lead Product Designer, you’ll drive UX outcomes through world class product design for Timely (desktop and mobile). This role involves engaging with users through a human centered approach, cross-functional collaboration, working cross-product, mentoring junior designers, and standing up practice improvements.
We want someone who passionately advocates for users, and is experienced and comfortable with a fast-paced high-growth environment. This means you’ll be given ownership and great responsibility. Ultimately, you’ll be increasing value for our users, contributing to Ever Well’s product vision and goals – and enabling a product design organisation to also do the same.

Responsibilites

Driving measurable UX outcomes via standing up practice improvements (eg. design system and practices, journey management practice,etc)
Working with design systems, design tokens ensuring the wider adoption of design system indesigns we create.
Advocating accessibility standards in new components
Mentor & coach more junior team members, new onboards and stakeholders
Identify product design practice gaps and standup improvements to close them
Deliver world class product design for complex product that is superior to our benchmarks, in a collaborative team environment
Solve the right user problems, with the right solution through an insights-based approach
Identify opportunities for cross-product synergy – eg. solving problems for multiple actors in a system at one time
Plan UX activities that maximise outcomes at every step, and partner with product management, engineering, product marketing and UX research across the journey
Plan and conduct UX research to discover problem spaces and define + prioritise specific problems within them
Define UX success metrics that align to product and company goals and stand-up tracking for those, for each piece of work
Ensure cross-team alignment via. no-surprises communication, facilitating group activities where appropriate (eg. co-design), playing back research findings, showing work in progress, and clearly articulating the why and connection to user need/problem
