About The Role
In this role, you will ensure the efficient and timely processing of receiving and dispatch tasks, with a focus on meeting customer service level agreements (SLAs). You will be actively involved in promoting safe work practices, identifying areas for process improvement, and ensuring that our operations exceed the agreed service levels. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and motivate the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations, including the timely receipt and dispatch of parts.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of both incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring that all orders are processed within established timeframes to meet or exceed customer SLAs.
Process Improvement: Continuously monitor warehouse processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement. Recommend and implement changes to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve overall service delivery.
Safety & Compliance: Take an active role in maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety guidelines. Promote and enforce safe work practices to reduce accidents and injuries.
Customer Focus: Ensure that the parts operations meet or exceed customer expectations by delivering products on time and to the correct specifications, maintaining the highest levels of service.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between receiving, storage, and dispatch teams. Report on performance and provide feedback on operational efficiencies to management.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, parts distribution, or logistics, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of inventory management, receiving, and dispatch processes.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, with a track record of implementing process enhancements.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
