The Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated full time or a part time Meat Packer to join our dynamic team. This role reports to our Butchery/Seafood Manager and is responsible for packing and pricing butchery products and ensure all meat is displayed in the case, is correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled. To ensure the meat cases and freezers are appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are always maintained.
The ideal candidate will be able to recognize different cuts of meat, basic ability to read tickets, reliable, results-oriented, pays attention to detail, customer-service oriented and is able to work safely with packing machinery, while ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards.
This position will include weekdays and one weekend shift.
Candidates must have either New Zealand Permanent Residency or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa.
