Job Title: Painter
Location: Wellington Region
Employment Type: Full-time
Days Required: Monday to Sunday on shift
Number of Vacancies: 2 positions
Hours Per Week: 30 to 50 hours
Hourly Rate: $26.69 - $29.66
To be right for this role and our organization, you need:
- Minimum 3 years painter relevant experience or a Level 4 or above relevant qualification in trades.
- Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated.
- Able to work on weekends and work overtime.
- Flexible to meet the early morning and late night shifts.
- Physically fit in any conditions - hot, cold, dusty, indoors or outdoors.
- Long-term, full-time commitments needed.
- Able to pass a police check.
- Corporate daily tasks with team members to ensure workflows meet site requirements.
- Ensuring daily painting job tasks are completed with high-quality standards.
- Preparing and organizing painting materials and tools needed for projects.
- Carry out the painter duties as required, such as preparation before painting, mixing painting colours, painting with a high standard, etc.
- Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
- Ensuring the project is delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensuring you comply with the company's Healthy and Safety system to maintain a safe working environment.
- Familiar with all painting tools and able to apply paint on required areas perfectly.
