About the role:
MYOB People Partners play a critical role in driving employee-related initiatives and provide comprehensive HR support to their teams across Australia and New Zealand. We're currently seeking a dynamic, progressive and experienced senior HR practitioner to support our tech and line of business teams

To be successful in this role, thinking strategically will be second nature to you; you'll have exceptional interpersonal skills, and will possess a strong understanding of HR best practice and methodologies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Advising and coaching people leaders on employee relations issues, providing guidance on policy interpretation and compliance with local laws and legislation;
  • Providing strategic HR support and guidance on various initiatives for individual lines of business, including organisational restructuring, workforce planning, and talent management;
  • Serving as a main point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures;
  • Conducting detailed investigations into employee grievances or concerns, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes;
  • Collaborating with the broader People Experience team to develop and implement People strategies aligned with MYOB’s goals and encouraging a positive culture within MYOB.
  • Analysing key People metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement;

The skills you will need:
  • Solid understanding of current Australian and New Zealand employment legislation;
  • Demonstrable experience in HR/People Experience, with a focus on employee relations and business partnership;
  • Excellent understanding of organisational development principles, L&D and talent processes;
  • Proven experience working in a senior People advisory capacity;
  • Experience implementing and delivering on key HR/PX projects and programmes;
  • Experience with HR and Talent Management software, reporting and analytics;
