Platform Capability Lead, M365 Productivity
Role Overview
The Platform Capability Lead will be responsible for driving the adoption and usage of M365 products and services across the Ministry of Social Development, including improving the user experience in the support activities, such as ticket resolution, feedback collection, and knowledge management. The specialist will work closely with the M365 Platform team, different business units across the Ministry, and the end users to better understand their needs, challenges, and goals. The goal is to provide end users with the best solutions and practices to achieve their goals and will also monitor and measure the impact and outcomes of the adoption initiatives and the support activities to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and updates of M365 products and services
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning within the organisation, encouraging ongoing development and knowledge sharing
  • Develop and execute strategies and plans to enhance adoption of existing M365 products and services, such as Teams, Share Point, One Drive, Outlook, and Power Platform
  • Collaborate with other departments within MSD to help ensure adoption of new and emerging M365 products and technologies
  • Provide support and guidance to the end users on how to use M365 products and services effectively and efficiently
  • Create and maintain adoption and support materials, such as guides, videos, FAQs, tips, and best practices
  • Monitor adoption metrics and satisfaction feedback, pinpointing usage gaps and areas for improvement
  • Orchestrate additional internal company resources to optimise the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of M365 solutions
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, webinars, and other learning resources for the end users
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for content enhancement and evolution
  • Report and communicate the adoption and support results and insights to the management and the relevant parties
  • Create engaging communications

Relevant Experience
  • 3 years of experience in M365 adoption, training, or support
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • High customer-service standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and creative thinker with outside-the-box ideas and suggestions
  • Experience working within NZ's Public Sector is a plus

Qualifications and Knowledge
  • Must have excellent knowledge and skills in M365 products and services, especially Teams, Share Point, One Drive, Outlook, and Power Platform
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Bachelor degree preferably in IT or Business or Education is a plus
  • Certification in M365 or related areas is a plus

Salary range: $136,420.00 - $169,767.00
