Te Pae Tawhiti – Our Future is about MSD's future role and how we can make a bigger and better difference for New Zealanders.
Te Pae Tawhiti Transformation Programme is a major undertaking, spanning several years and delivering significant benefits to over a million New Zealanders who access MSD support and services. This is a once in a generation opportunity to be involved in MSD's multi-year transformation journey.


Te āhua o te tūranga / about the role
The Principal Programme Advisor, Te Pae Tawhiti is a key advisory role, providing expertise and leadership, building confidence with stakeholders, and creating transparency and insight for decision makers.
This is an opportunity to influence a once in a generation transformation programme in a team that actively grows and develops kaimahi.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako / skills and experience
  • experience working in large change programmes
  • extensive experience within a programme management office identifying, managing and reporting on programme risks and issues
  • proven ability to work with delivery teams to develop programme standards to improve the effectiveness of cost, time, risk and issue management
  • ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior management, to achieve desired outcomes
  • expert knowledge of the Planview and Jira systems
  • an understanding of, and ability to work collaboratively and responsively in Public Sector settings
  • can take complex ideas/concepts and identify/turn these into practical actions, including obtaining engagement, commitment and buy in from relevant stakeholders
  • experience/willingness to embed Te Ao Māori into BAU

Salary range: $141,109.00 - $175,603.00
