You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, design, and execute the migration process, ensuring seamless transitions while optimising performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • You should also hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field

To succeed in this role, you bring with you:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of personal motivation, self-management, and commitment to success
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new development languages and technologies
  • A strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work in New Zealand

Bonus if you have:
  • Experience with Jira, SCM tools (Bit Bucket or Github), and Confluence
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Fortran, and COBOL would be a plus
  • Experience with reverse engineering and complex software systems development
  • Data migration experience
