Project Overview:
The organization is seeking an experienced Project Director/Manager to lead a $30 million construction project focused on taxiway construction and upgrades, including new pavements. This presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile project expected to commence in April/May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and maintenance of the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities and contractors, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and overall project execution.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent and other project team members to drive performance and resolve any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Proven experience in a Project Director/Manager role, preferably in airport construction or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
