Are you an experienced project management professional with a passion for delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects? Veolia is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Queenstown for a fixed term contract - 6 months.

What you'll be responsible for
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects within our Operations & Maintenance business units. You'll manage projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of project delivery across water/wastewater infrastructure projects
- Prepare project proposals, tender submissions, and internal approval documentation
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Monitor budgets and track project progress using Earned Value Analysis
- Contribute to business development efforts and identify growth opportunities
What you'll need to be successful
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical or process preferred)
- Significant experience in water/wastewater project environments
- Proven track record in design, construction, and project management
- Familiarity with project delivery models (PMI, Prince2, or Agile)
- Experience managing projects
- Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment and reticulation infrastructure
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Current driver's license
- Ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information.
- Persistence and confidence in one's own judgement and capability.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, strong analytical skills and focus on quality of work.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Results focused team player.
- High degree of personal integrity.
- A confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and interact at all levels of organisations (including corporate and large public sector organisations).
