Your day-to-day:

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that all software we release is robust, secure, and meets the business needs of Lotto NZ. This position will help establish a test-driven culture and will be involved on a daily basis in testing of the latest web technologies in the My Lotto interactive channels, the core Lotteries gaming system and will have regular participation in other project-based work.


You will be autonomous and capable of managing test effort for allocated projects. You will be expected to:

• Develop and implement testing plans, create test cases, and document findings.
• Review products for defects and errors.
• Conduct regression testing and software compatibility tests.
• Analyse test results and track progress on issue resolutions.
• Ensure that the final product meets functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the IT team and software suppliers to ensure error-free development and controlled testing.
• Utilise and maintain test automation suites for accurate test coverage.

Your team:

At Lotto NZ, we take a quality and customer-centric approach to software delivery. We strive for frequent releases while maintaining a strong focus on integrity and quality. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you are choosing flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to learn and thrive in a supportive and fun environment. This is a full-time role. The hours of work will be primarily 08:30am – 05:30pm Monday – Friday. We have a hybrid model; you will be working from our Corporate HQ in Newmarket and can spend some time working from home.

A bit about you:

You will have:

• A solid understanding of API testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman.
• Experience with Web and Mobile automation tools.
• Proficiency in databases and basic SQL commands.
• 2–5 years of experience in a software testing role.

ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
