As the Property Manager you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of a diverse portfolio of properties. The role encompasses operations, administration, marketing, and finance, as well as maintaining effective communication with both property owners and tenants.

As the Property Manager you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of a diverse portfolio of properties. The role encompasses operations, administration, marketing, and finance, as well as maintaining effective communication with both property owners and tenants.
About the Role
- Proactively manage tenant relationships and property occupancy by addressing concerns, conducting timely rental appraisals and reviews, and ensuring accurate tenancy agreements are completed
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract high-quality tenants, including preparing advertising materials and maintaining an understanding of the local market
- Conduct thorough property inspections and maintain accurate chattel lists and condition reports, while ensuring timely communication with property owners regarding maintenance and tenancy issues
- Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act, manage rental payments and arrears, and prepare for and attend Tenancy Tribunal hearings
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, reporting incidents, and training new staff while upholding professional communication standards with property owners and tenants
- Proven track record in managing the entire life-cycle of a residential property management portfolio
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and familiarity with Tenancy Tribunal proceedings
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, together with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated expertise in independently managing workloads to effectively to meet market demands
- Level 4 in Residential Property Management, highly desirable
- Clean New Zealand Class 1 driver’s licence
- Full-time, permanent role
