Looking for a team player who enjoys working outdoors
Delta manages a variety of contracts across the basin for large clients. If you're seeking seasonal opportunities as an operator in Queenstown, New Zealand, you're in luck! There are openings for both mower/line strimmer operators and pilot drivers, full training is provided for these roles for right candidates. Whether you have experience or not, you'll receive comprehensive training to excel in your responsibilities.
These positions offer flexible options, with contract arrangements available for both casual and full/part-time workers. We currently have a vacancy for Seasonal Operators in Queenstown, Otago.
This position requires someone who is physically fit, ideally lives in the region already and who has a keen interest or experience in the following:
- Driving and operating machinery
- Understands and adheres to Health & Safety guidelines and best practice;
- Enjoys working outside in all weathers;
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Current and clean driver’s licence.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Experience operating mowing equipment or farming machinery;
- Valid Class 1 drivers license;
- Experience with weed trimmers and other small plant;
- Basic mechanical knowledge;
- Dedication to complete every job to a high standard;
- Mindful of safety and courteous of the general public;
- A strong work ethic and can be relied upon to work well unsupervised;
- Able to prioritize and work within time-frames;
- Able to work well with others and can communicate effectively.
